JCDecaux Luxembourg marks its anniversary with an 'out-of-home' campaign

JCDecaux Luxembourg is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year! Since its creation, JCDecaux Luxembourg has always been at the forefront of innovation and adaptation. To celebrate this milestone and underline its ongoing commitment to remaining relevant to consumers and advertisers, JCDecaux is launching an out-of-home (OOH) campaign visible in the streets of Luxembourg, on digital screens in shopping centers and in train railway stations from 9 to 15 July 2024.

The campaign uses simple, familiar words to illustrate changes in a number of business sectors, such as the switch from petrol to diesel, and then to hybrid and electric cars. It's a real plunge into 40 years of developments and innovations for the brands. 

In this way, JCDecaux Luxembourg wants to show both the general public and the advertising market that it has always been there to connect brands to consumers, while continuing to evolve and innovate to remain more relevant than ever.

Over four decades, JCDecaux has brought to life thousands of advertising campaigns, each reflecting changes in our society, our lifestyles and our consumer habits. With the 100% electric self-service bicycle service, Vel'oh!, in collaboration with the city of Luxembourg, and an advertising presence in all the Grand Duchy's train stations and in the largest malls, advertisers benefit from unprecedented flexibility on 100 digital screens. Digital makes OOH more effective than ever.

The year 2024 has a special dimension as it marks both the 60th anniversary of our company, founded in 1964 by Jean-Claude Decaux, and the 40th anniversary of JCDecaux Luxembourg. The developments made in Luxembourg over the years have enabled us to develop a powerful and effective media: street furniture, communication in shopping centres, transport and airports. I would like to congratulate and thank our teams, who have made JCDecaux the number one outdoor advertising company in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
