JCDecaux Luxembourg launches its programmatic DOOH offering

15 million monthly premium impressions on 100 screens

JCDecaux Luxembourg today launched the programmatic purchase of its premium digital inventory in various universes: at Luxembourg airport, at the railway station (CFL) and in shopping malls. As a reminder, JCDecaux Luxembourg recently extended its DOOH offering through a partnership with two renowned shopping malls: Kirchberg and Cloche d'Or.

This was an impressive launch, as the programmatic DOOH will make it possible to achieve 15 million impressions per month thanks to 100 digital screens accessible in Luxembourg. It is via VIOOH, the leading premium global digital out of home supply side platform, that programmatic buying on JCDecaux screens will be possible. This platform offers advertisers the possibility of reaching specific target audiences at specific times.

pDOOH: a multitude of advantages

Advertisers will be able to book a DOOH campaign in exclusive environments in an ultra-flexible, simple and fast way, in combination with data. Programmatic DOOH thus offers more control and transparency, but also more flexibility in targeting, contextualization and optimization.

In concrete terms, it will be possible, for example, to broadcast a campaign according to the weather at the train station, or to target business flights at the airport or to highlight relevant promotions in shopping malls. So programmatic buying will be a key growth driver.

A great addition to JCDecaux's overall programmatic offering. In Belgium, the digital out-of-home and programmatic buying offer has been growing over the last few months with 1200 digital screens producing 1,850 million impressions per month. These are spread throughout Belgium: in the shopping malls, at the entrances to Carrefour and Delhaize shops, in 17 Brussels metros and on the streets of Brussels and Liège. During 2023 - 2024, 100 digital screens will be installed in iconic locations in Antwerp: near the Central Station area, the Meir, etc.

Wim Jansen, CEO JCDecaux Belgium, Luxembourg & Israel, declared: "After the success of programmatic DOOH in Belgium (launched in 2020), developing pDOOH in Luxembourg was the logical next step! We are very happy to officially launch programmatic DOOH in Luxembourg. One more step towards personalized campaigns in Luxembourg, with more precise targeting and relevant messages."

We’re thrilled to be launching our programmatic digital OOH offering across Luxembourg in partnership with JCDecaux,” said Jean-Christophe Conti, Chief Executive Officer at VIOOH. “By combining JCDecaux’s premium inventory with VIOOH’s programmatic capabilities, it enables advertisers to create highly targeted, flexible, and measurable campaigns across Luxembourg’s airports, shopping malls, and rail stations - allowing more brands to engage with the highly sought-after traveller and shopper audiences.” added JC Conti.
